Monte Alban

Inspired by my culture, I decided to create Monte Alban Coffee Co. A coffee company that provides high quality coffee from Oaxaca. The name Monte Alban comes from the actual place, Monte Alban, a large pre-Columbian archeological site in Oaxaca. For Monte Alban Coffee Co. I illustrated the logo and created the packaging for the coffee beans and the cold brew bottle labels. To create the brand I drew inspiration from pre-colonial architecture and sculptures as well as contemporary design. Both of these elements were essential in the creation of the brand as it is important to honor both, the culture and also have contemporary design elements.
